The successful candidate will be required to actively contribute to achieving the Service and Revenue targets at the ticket offices by providing efficient, high quality and friendly service to customers for reservations, ticketing, fares and telephone sales queries. Constantly provide guidance to the agents and deputise for the Supervisor in their absence
Ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided to walk-in customers, corporate and telephone clients while providing them details on Emirates tariff fares and actively issue online tickets and sell related products.
Issue EK tickets to customer ensuring that all-necessary airline rules and regulations are incorporated and that the customer request is met in order to provide them with excellent service. Highlight to customers the legal requirements governing their journey such as passport, visa & health requirements and other details. Responsible for handling ticket re-issues, re-calculation of fares based on the customers changed itinerary and make necessary collection as required.
Actively enhance Emirates revenue earnings by providing options to customer on other products and services such as Skywards, Hotel bookings, Car Hire and chauffeur drive and liaise with the suppliers to ensure bookings are valid.
In case of non availability of seats on particular sectors, actively encourage, convince and suggest to customers alternative ways of travel in order to generate revenue.
Actively be involved in suggesting new ideas and providing recommendations on the improvement of the service provided, thereby increasing revenue and ensuring that Emirates Airlines maintains its mark as one of the leading Airlines.
Ensure that all necessary ticket related documentation is filed, time tables updated, brochures, sale and promotional material is properly displayed on individual counters and around thereby providing various options to the customer which will assist in increasing sales.
Perform pre-flight checks and action queues on Emirates CRS system.
Support Travel Agents by assisting them in making bookings with special arrangements. Advise and guide Travel Agents on quoting special fares or ticketing completion formalities.
Fulfill Emirates on-line activities by quoting fares and arranging for tickets to be issued and perform other complex functions such as TODs, PTAs etc.
Support the Passenger Sales & Services Supervisor on closing the end of day sales and banking monies received. Whenever possible create a database of all potential customers and develop a personal relationship with them by giving occasional calls and informing them of new services provided, there by the customer always contacts the Agent for their travel needs.
