| Description: |
The Payroll Manager has a staff of two people and is in charge of compiles and maintains payroll records and ensures adherence to dealership personnel policies and procedures.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Compiles payroll data including hours worked, sales volume, bonus pay, commissions, monies to be withheld from taxes, employee contributions to insurance and retirement plans, etc. from time sheets and other payroll related records.
o Updates master payroll records by verifying and recording changes affecting net wages such as federal and state tax exemptions, insurance coverage, child support, etc. and data concerning compensation increases, promotions, and/or transfer of employees between departments.
o Computes wages and deductions, reviews for accuracy and posts to payroll records. Transmits payroll data and ensures accuracy of paychecks received from the processor through established reconciliation process.
o Maintains records of leave pay, eligibility and non-taxable wages. Ensures dealership
Maintains employee personnel files in a confidential place and manner.
o Administers job-related employment tests and surveys as prescribed.
o Maintains integrity and confidentiality of information received, required or revealed through application, new hire, payroll, disciplinary and termination processes
