Job Summary:
Design preparation and organizing of internal and external communications, media, public relations and marketing to effectively represent the company to customers and investor prospects.
This position will be responsible primarily for the full communication function and processes, and in ensuring the following communication and marketing activities are accomplished:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in providing a positive organizational image to the general public, clients, shareholders and the community. Prepares press releases and articles. write, edit and publish organizational publications in both English and Arabic languages.
Works and coordinates with PR agencies in the design, development, editing and formatting of a multitude of public relations type communications, media releases, brochures, promotional materials, etc.
Liaises with external agencies to develop and coordinate multimedia packages letters, brochures, video, visual displays for particular events, exhibitions and trade shows.
Draft and production of analytical and well-presented reports, annual publications, staff communiqués and web-page communications.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Communication, Journalism or Public Relations with 8+ years experience in media – designing, writing and editing, preferably with industrial products.
Up-to-date knowledge of current theories, practices and techniques in communication and PR research, planning and strategy, and the role of mass media.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic languages.
